The hot cell facilities shall be adopted to study the fuel irradiation performance, obtain the macroscopic and microscopic behavior characteristics of fuel rods, and obtain the physical and mechanical properties of cladding and pellet materials, so as to provide important support for fuel performance evaluation and new fuel design and R&D.
