The Sixth Sino-French Reactor Project Exchange Meeting and the Tenth Annual Meeting of the Associated Laboratory on Fast Reactor Technology Kick Off
From September 26 to 28, the Sixth Sino-French Reactor Project Exchange Meeting and the Tenth Annual Meeting of the Associated Laboratory on Fast Reactor Technology took place in Beijing. Yang Hongyi, deputy director general of China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE), met with Carnier, head of the Generation IV Nuclear Energy Project at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), as well as Tony d’ALETTO, nuclear counselor at the Embassy of the French Republic in China, and their delegation. Zhang Libo, deputy director general of CIAE, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Yang Hongyi provided an overview of CIAE and expressed a desire to collaborate with the French delegation in new research fields. The French delegation showed keen interest in CIAE’s future development plans.
Throughout the meeting, both sides engaged in discussions and exchanges concerning the fourth-generation reactor project and other topics.
