From May 29 to 30, 2014, the 10^th China Nuclear Energy Congress was held in Beijing. Liu Weiping, vice president of the China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE), was invited to the congress, and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Xu Mi and Deputy Chief Engineer Ke Guotu delivered a report respectively.

China Nuclear Energy Congress is the regional annual conference, first held in 2005. During the past 10 years, more than 2200 people from forty countries attended the Congress, discussing the world's nuclear power development, nuclear power plant operation, nuclear equipment manufacture, legal consultation Service, etc.

On May 28, the delegates of the Congress visited the CIAE and the China Experimental Fast Reactor.
