On October 13, 2008, the International Cooperation Training class of IAEA Asia Pacific Region was undertaken by CIAE in Beijing. Mr. ZAHNG Jinrong, deputy director of CIAE attended the opening ceremony and delivered the welcome address.

 

The subject of the training was application of neutron gamma technology in iron ore and off line quality control cement industry, which would make positive promotion to R&D carried out by China and Asia Pacific region in this field.

 

Two technical professors from France and Australia were invited to give lectures and sixteen trainees from Asia Pacific nations such as Vietnam, Burma, and Bengal, Pakistan etc… attended the training.
